DaLat

Da Lat is small city in the mountains with French architecture and strawberries.
I stayed in the city one night and the rest of the week I spent in a Buddhist tempel in the mountains close to DaLat and lived with around 300 nuns and monks as the only foreigner. It was great experience for me to stay with them and experience their busy and interessting schedule. Waiking up at 3h a.m., going into bed at 10h p.m., meditating four times per day, with 1-2hours per meditation session, chanting every evening in big tempel with 150 nuns, with two meals per day and each meal was own ceremony, helping in the their own garden in the forest or helping in the kitchen cooking very delicious Viatnamese dishes. I saw many new vegetables, which I have never seen before, had the best fresh green tea ever and learned how to prepare it. The most clean place, which I ever have seen so far, with many beautiful flowers and trees, the most lovely local people and best food so far. I can't describe which nice experience and time I had there. I hope I can visit them one day again.
