Dong Hoi, Phong Nha

National park, great nature and landscapes, many caves. However the weather was not good, it was raining the hole time, so I could visit only one cave.

Hoi An

Very nice location with nice nature, beach and small cute city. The city is beatiful, especially in the night with many colorful latern lights. City is good for walking, shoping, eating. Very nice place, which can be easly explored by motorbike or bicycle.

Nha Trang

I stayed in Nha Trang one night and two days as short stopover at the beach. Nha Trang is almost only beach, there is not much to see. Beach is huge and windy, water is warm. Very touristic place, many Russians, everything is in Russian, so similar like Mui Ne.

DaLat

Da Lat is small city in the mountains with French architecture and strawberries. I stayed in the city one night and the rest of the week I spent in a Buddhist tempel in the mountains close to DaLat and lived with around 300 nuns and monks as the only foreigner. It was great experience for me to stay with them and experience their busy and interessting schedule. Waiking up at 3h a.m., going into bed at 10h p.m., meditating four times per day, with 1-2hours per meditation session, chanting every evening in big tempel with 150 nuns, with two meals per day and each meal was own ceremony, helping in the their own garden in the forest or helping in the kitchen cooking very delicious Viatnamese dishes. I saw many new vegetables, which I have never seen before, had the best fresh green tea ever and learned how to prepare it. The most clean place, which I ever have seen so far, with many beautiful flowers and trees, the most lovely local people and best food so far. I can't describ

Mui Ne, Vietnam's coast

On the way to my next destination Dalat (city in the mountains) I decided spontaneously to make a short stopover on the beach and relax two days before i continue with my trip to the nord. The beaches are very long, not so crowdy, however compared to Thailand not so nice and some spots are not really clean, but are ok for relaxing and the sea water is warm. Many Russians are coming for vacations here in this region, everything is in Russian, easier for me to understand compared to Viatnamese. Except beaches, in Mui Ne one can see very nice canyon with waterfall- I never saw such colorful landscape so far, white and red sun dunes, many boats and fishers in the sea- very beatuful views. My first impression is that Viatnamese people are very quite and not so friendly compared to another countries, nevertheless in Mui Ne I met lovely locals from the younger generation, very friendly open minded and curious about western life.

Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh (Saigon)

I decided to cross the boarder between Cambodia and Vietnam by bus and during the day, 7hours from Phnom Phen. The bus was very comfortable (AC, wifi, etc.) and boarder crossing was very fast and without any issues (applied for visa in advance). Vietnam as a first impression looks much more developed compared to Cambodia. Ho Chi Minh city (old name Saigon) is huge city with population of ~8Mio.people, like the hole population in Bulgaria together. 8mio.people and pretty much the same number of scooters on the streets..it's very busy and crazy traffic..i can't really describe how crazy they drive, no idea how they can manage this and survive just one day.. It is also a big challenge to cross the street..noone is waiting or breaking, you just have to adapt and match with the traffic. Although very busy with crazy traffic and high criminality i liked the city- is not so dirty at all, is developed, you have parks and many green areas and many possibilities for activities, like be

Cambodia, Phnom Penh

I am in Phnom Phen now, capital city of Cambodia and on the way to Vietnam. This city is most probably the most developed city in Cambodia, here one can see also couple of high buildings and not only small wooden houses. However i can see still many poor people, who live on the street or in small boats on Mekong river.  The city and people are nice and polite as well. The food is similar to Thailand, not so spicy, but very sweet, a lot of suger is usef during cooking. Every day I have many new impressions, I see new places and meet new people-unfortunatelly i don't have much time to write and sometimes is not possible to describe everything, too many things are hapening every day- what I can say for sure is I have great and positive experiences so far. Until now I have already around~3000 pictures&videos- saved impressions, which I can share with you when I am back.
